Consisting of Anthony Crawford and Savana Lee, Sugarcane Jane are appearing on our blog for the first time through their new performance video, Put it in Your Pocket (Live on the WDVX Blue Plate Special).

Though new to us, Sugarcane Jane have some pedigree in the music industry. Anthony has been a long time bandmate of Neil Young, and has worked with the likes of Steve Winwood and Dwight Yoakam. He wrote Put it in Your Pocket with his experiences in the world of music in his mind. It speaks of taking the positive out of any situation, and is delivered through a lively American rock arrangement. The vocals have plenty of character as Sugarcane Jane give a spirited show.

As well as the performance video, the duo are also releasing the track, originally featuring on their album On A Mission, as a single. The single is out now and you can check out the video below.
