Mark Perry hails from Smithers in Northwest British Colombia and has released fourteen full-lengths albums during an illustrious career in music, always inspired by the unique people and landscape of his home.
Writing Day Makes got him out of a dark period, allowing him to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel through a lively acoustic pop track. It draws on the phrase “what a difference a day makes” to provide a jaunty, philosophical number that is rich with storytelling. Mark’s vocals are wonderfully compelling as they tell their tale while the instrumental provides some rich and raw folk elements.
Mark’s new album Glimpses is out now and you can check out Day Makes below.
