Sadly, it’s pretty rare that we get to hear new music from Finland, so I was excited to discover Kemopetrol!

Are You Coming Home? is something of a comeback single for the Finnish band, and I’m sad to say I missed their music the first time around! It’s an indie-pop song with more than a hint of electro, featuring some gorgeous synth melodies that traverse through the music in a tremendous way. The vocals are smooth and sultry, containing just the right tone for this sort of track, really getting underneath your skin on the very first listen to Are You Coming Home?

I’m not normally a massive fan of pop but when it’s done this well, what’s not to like!
