Recorded at Afghan Whig’s Marigny Studios, accident is the first new single from New Orleans, USA-based melodic rockers McCloud in nearly twenty years.

Ricky Andre, Eric Dills, Chad Favre, and Benjamin Tiblier, the four members of McCloud, started playing together while at Louisiana State University. Then, life got in the way of their music. It was the discovery that Afghan Whig’s studio was only 45 minutes from them that prompted them to go back to recording.

It’s fortunate for us. We may never have heard their music otherwise. Accident is a track that strikes you with its thoughtful lyrics while making you feel through its powerful and emotional rock instrumental. The vocals are strong in their vulnerability, and become suitably pleading during a chorus that demands more from the world.
