There’s always something delightfully unique about his compositions and his lyrics never fail to tell us a story. In his latest Exile, the story is one of astronomers and mysterious radio signals, all playing out through a vibrant pop rock arrangement rich with emotion. As ever, Simon’s distinct vocals are the star of the show, full of soul and beautifully passionate during a soaring chorus.
