Honeydew is a track that Lauren Hulbert originally wrote in 2010, celebrating the early parts of a relationship.

Lauren has been writing music for over seventeen years, first in her native city of Thousand Oaks, California, USA and now in her current location of Nashville.

She’s quick to point out that Honeydew isn’t about a specific relationship, but rather the concept on any relationship that is filled with love. She captures the related feelings through a gentle and timeless acoustic folk arrangement in which her silken vocals are accompanied by delicately plucked strings and rousing drums. Her poetic lyrics are the star of the show as she paints a heart-warming picture.
