With a general election around the corner, rockers Bladderwrack had no choice but to bring forward the release of their anti-corruption song and video Sleazy Street.
By Graeme Smith
Opening with a shot of number ten Downing Street juxtaposed with the sight of homeless of the street, the video for Sleazy Street makes it point straight away. It’s backed by an edgy rock number that is as groovy as it is astute. Its lyrics take no prisoners while the AI-generated video makes no secret of the targets of their ire.
Sleazy Street will feature on Bladderwrack’s upcoming, untitled album, set for release later this year via Urinal Vinyl. The track is out now and you can check out its video below.
