The Exhales first appeared on our blog as part of Jane’s Celtic Faves round up in May and now it’s my turn to share their music thanks to their new single Bouquet.

Their new single Bouquet is about being underestimated and dismissed and the impact it can have on one’s mental health. It brings the emotion to life through a rousing indie rock arrangement that starts slow and pensive before ramping up to a dramatic chorus. The vocals stay expressive throughout and its visceral lyrics cut deep.

If you’re hoping to catch The Exhales live, they’ll be playing at Broadcast in Glasgow on 28 June and at Belladrum Festival in July.
