Teenatown struggles with acceptance and homophobia with her new single

New York, USA producer and songwriter teenatown, real name Tina Miller, has appeared on these pages a few times before, and is back with a new single that delves deep into her personal frustrations with homophobia, religious bigotry, and intolerance.

Tina wrote her new song false prophet out of anger. It was an anger born of frustration, of finally having her patience pushed too far, and a desire to state loudly and proudly that “love is love”. As a result, it’s a terse song that slowly builds atmosphere with layers of distorted guitar before blowing up in an anthemic chorus where Tina’s vocals shine. It might just be her best effort yet.
