Comeback kids McCloud are back with another new single, something and chartres, taken from their EP look behind you.

McCloud are New Orleans, USA-based rockers who recently returned from an almost twenty year hiatus. Earlier this month we shared their comeback track, Accident.

It’s follow-up is called something and chartres and sees them slowing things down in a sultry and thoughtful track. The vocals become particularly soulful, backed by soft rock in the verse between interludes of big riffs. As the track reaches its end, the emotion ramps up in the vocals and we get a blistering, powerful guitar solo.
