Vegan punks Daffodildos takes their case to the meat-eaters of the world with barnstorming new single, What’s Your Excuse?

As a vegan of eight years, I often find it a difficult topic to talk about. The cliché is that vegans love telling you they’re vegan (hey, look I just did!) so I often try and do the opposite. Thank goodness for Daffodildos who broach the topic unapologetically with their new track What’s Your Excuse?

Of course, you can expect queer punks to say it like it is and What’s Your Excuse? is a barnstormer that tears all the classic lines down, from protein to preferences. It’s all set to a swaggering bass line, galvanised by big riffs, and emoted by expressive, attitude-laden vocals courtesy of Emily Flea (formerly of the Fleas). Whatever your dietary persuasion, it will rouse you.
