The Hellp redefine nostalgia with new indie-sleaze track and throwback video, Caustic.
By Graeme Smith
True innovators are hard to come by in the world of music nowadays, but I feel like The Hellp are exactly that. Combining maximal electronic instrumentals with the laissez-faire attitude of rock, they create a sound quite unlike anything I’ve heard before.
Their latest single Caustic is, put simply, a banger. It will have you throwing your life away and relishing every moment of the downfall, dancing through the darkness.
The Hellp are Noah Dillon and Chandler Ransom Lucy. Caustic was co-written by Chris Greatti and Liam Hall. It’s out now via Anemoia Records/Atlantic Records and you can watch its video, directed and edited by Noah Dillon and featuring found footage shot at California’s Calabasas High School in 2008, below.
