Daisy Veacock releases anthemic jazz-pop wonder

Daisy Veacock reflects on friends and past relationships in Amy Winehouse-inspired new track, when i used to spend the night.

New to our blog, Daisy has captured my attention through her new single. Drawing on the jazz and soul-infused pop of the legendary Winehouse and the likes of Joy Crookes, when i used to spend the night is a bittersweet affair, blending upbeat instrumental elements with introspective lyrics. Its story is beautifully delivered through Daisy’s characterful vocals, and a vibrant, brassy chorus is anthemic.

For the track, Daisy teamed up with producer Beau Miles and producer and guitarist Natsuma. The three have made a wonder. I’m looking forward to keeping close to her musical journey from now on.

When i used to spend the night is out now and you can give it a listen below.
