Britney Spears is an icon, no matter what way you look at it. Her music has endured, and she has firmly found a place in pop culture, fighting through persecution and mental health difficulties. So what can you do to reimagine her iconic track Toxic? Well, you could make it a rock song. That’s exactly what Hana Piranha has done.
Their version keeps the famous strings, while pouring in some rock and roll swagger, sultry vocals and plenty of bite. It transforms the song to a commentary on humanity’s base instincts with a dark atmosphere and cathartic chorus.
Hana Piranha’s Toxic is out now and you can give it a listen below.
