American retro-pop duo Animal Prince unleash debut album and new single, Parallel Lines.

Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area in California, Animal Prince are producers, multi-instrumentalists and partners Fae Nageon de Lestang on violin and vocals and Grant McLeod on percussion and piano. Raised in the world of classical music, they met each other at a dive bar jazz night in Florida.

While their music is classed as retro-pop, you can still detect traces of their upbringing in it, resulting in a beautifully unique sound that instantly catches your attention. In Parallel Lines, we get soulful vocals, laidback instrumentals and plenty of emotion. Just as we’re settling into the track, a groovy bassline kicks in and the whole thing is elevated towards a dreamy chorus.

Their debut album Have Good Dreams, written and recorded at the pair’s home, is out today, available on vinyl and digital. You can give Parallel Lines a listen below.
