London-based, Manchester-born pop and R&B artist APW works his way through a bad breakup with soulful new track BETTA.

With an opening verse that dances between singing and rapping, we get right into the story of BETTA. The emotion of it is beautifully delivered by APW’s powerful vocals, while his lyrics will bring plenty of nods of recognition from anyone who has to mend a broken heart. The beat is nod-worthy too. APW treats us to a warm and lively R&B instrumental and the choral refrain of “eat, sleep, sigh, repeat” will stick with you.

It feels a good time to be discovering the music of APW. He has a new EP, a collaboration with artist BELLA and producer Cam Ward, on the way.
