Multidisciplinary creative, storyteller and Eurovision artist Rykka debuts on our blog with therapeutic synth-pop track, High Trust High Stakes.

Trust and relationships go hand in hand, but Rykka’s new track on the topic comes with a twist. Rather than talking about trusting anyone else, she reflects on the trust she has in herself.

Musically we get an intro that is somehow both urgent and slow-burning. It gives plenty of space to Rykka’s compelling vocals that deliver lyrics that are full of imagery in what amounts to the perfect pop formula. When the full arrangement kicks it, it’s cathartic.

High Trust High Stakes was written by Rykka and producer Benji. It’s out now and you can give it a listen below.
