Opening with an isolated bassline, Alejandra’s intoxicating vocals float in, singing lyrics that cut right to the matter and take a hold of your heart. There’s a timelessness about her brand of soft rock which combines classic rock and roll with modern pop. I was utterly enraptured as its poetic story unfolded. The best is saved for last during a slow-building crescendo. It’s a simply flawless track.
