Our relationship with SYML’s music goes way back to 2019 when I discovered it for our blog through his single, Symmetry. Since then, he’s returned to our pages numerous times, most recently in the spring with introspective single, Oblivion.

His latest track is taken from his upcoming EP Oblivion and is a powerfully poetic effort that might just be his best yet. With tons of atmosphere in its Spaghetti Western soundscape, SYML’s vocals take centre stage. They deliver lyrics that are full of imagery. A smouldering verse builds to a captivating chorus. It has to be up there as one of the tracks of the year for me.
