Truro’s Webmoms grabs our attention with third single from upcoming EP, Size 9 Boots.
By Graeme Smith
Webmoms is the creation of Karum, a Cornwall-based Indian/Jamaican multi-instrumental, producer and rapper who draws together lo-fi hip hop, RnB, and soul to create a sound that is wholly distinct. His music is appearing on our blog for the first time.
His latest single sees him team up with Nigerian rapper and songwriter Raytheboffin to deliver a contemplative number rich with a moody instrumental and introspective lyrics. As much as it is told from their point of view, there’s a universal feeling to its story, speaking of the struggles of the modern grind.
Size 9 Boots will feature on upcoming EP For Us, By Us, set for release this month (October 2024). The single is out now and you can give it a listen below.
