Canadian singer songwriter Ariana Fig’s music has been featuring on this blog since 2020 and recently made a return to our pages through her pulsating track How Do You Want Me?

Her new single gives us the unvarnished truth of being in a relationship, hoping to coax young listeners to embrace their independence. The track opens with some ghostly electronica before arriving at a percussive groove. It ably backs Ariana’s compelling vocals that deliver relatable, storytelling lyrics. A memorable, emotional chorus is a stand out.

Ariana has been writing music since the age of thirteen, and the experience is paying off for an artist so young. She really knows how the write a catchy pop track with something to say.
