When I first heard the music of Fringe Frontier, I described it as “flawless.” Will their new single 18 maintain the standard?

What I loved about their previous single Wake Me Up was its perfect combination of rock influences and storytelling lyrics. Their latest single 18 very much picks up where that track left off, giving us a raucous, raw Americana rock instrumental and relatable lyrics that tell of finding one’s own groove.

Fringe Frontier do the simple things well and I think that’s why I love their sound so much. That’s not to say that not a lot goes into their tracks, quite the opposite. With mixing and mastering from Grammy nominees, it takes a lot of polish to sound this deliciously raw.
