Katy For Kings takes us back with swaggering, timeless new single, Stomping Ground.

Katy for Kings is a Chelmsford-based singer songwriter who has been featuring on our pages for four years. We rarely miss a chance to share her music.

Her new single, originally written in 2020, explores the theme of confronting one’s past to find reconciliation. There’s a lively and timeless swagger about it, bringing in elements of jazz, soul and old fashioned rock and roll. It’s all pushed through a modern pop filter, and Katy’s vocals are beautifully compelling as always. You can’t help but move along to its groove, and its chorus will stick with you.
