York’s son Harrison Rimmer is back with introspective new single

Dwelling on the work required to get better mentally, Cold is the latest single from York-born rock artist Harrison Rimmer.

By Graeme Smith

Harrison is no stranger to us. Born in York, the rock artist with a long history with our blog and our city.

His latest single, Cold, is the follow up to the previously released Tough Love and will feature on his second album, Cheaper Than Therapy.

Lyrically it dwells on the work required to get better mentally and was written partly after Harrison had his first panic attack. Yet, it’s also a track that you can dance to and draws from the likes of Springsteen and Frank Turner. Its tempo is relentless and its acoustic riffs lively. Harrison really goes for it with his expressive vocals, particularly during a singalong chorus.

Cold is out now and you can give it a listen below.
