York Calling favourite Mina introduces us to Brando Walker with a new remix of her track, Broken Boy.

London-based Swiss R&B artist Mina has been appearing on our blog since 2023, featuring as part of Jane’s All Jazzed Up round-up and even being interviewed. More recently, I shared her collaboration with Luabuddha, Into The Woods.

Her latest track is also a team up, seeing her join forces with Brando Walker for a remix of her track Broken Boy. Both are rising stars and bring something exciting to the mix. The track opens with a throwback dance beat and plenty of soul. Mina’s vocals are richly expressive during the verse before showing their full range during a powerful chorus. There’s clear chemistry between the pair’s sounds that makes this a scintillating release.
