Nova Soon unveils his new EP Goodbyetown with its title track.

The solo project of London-based Noah de Grunwald, Nova Soon has appeared on this blog twice before. We’ve been sharing tracks from his EP Goodbyetown which chronicles the loss of his father.

His latest release is the EP’s title track which focusses on his time caring for his mother and speaks of the healing ability of music.

As with his previous releases, Noah’s poetic lyrics are the focus. They’re instantly captivating and delivered with a hint of early Leonard Cohen. Noah has a beautiful voice and an expert ability to bring genuine emotion to each of his powerful words. Goodbyetown is devastating and life-affirming all at once.
