Leeds-based rock band Blue Orchid Reaction are back and this time they’re tackling the topic of tough love in new single, Secrets Don’t Share Themselves.

The music of Paul, Dominic, Matt and Alex, collectively known as Blue Orchid Reaction, has appeared on our blog three times before, with shares of their singles Matt’s Got A Job, Under These Skies and Tiny House all gracing these pages.
Their new track Secrets Don’t Share Themselves explores the topics of honesty in a complex relationship and tough love. With nods to ’90s indie rock, it’s a layered track. The melancholy of its lyrics is tempered by the bright hookiness of its instrumental. There’s some wonderful use of rise and fall moving in and out of the memorable chorus and the vocals stay soulful throughout.
Secrets Don’t Share Themselves was produced by Mike Heaton (Embrace) and is out now. You can check out its lyric video below.
