A fifteen-year-old American singer songwriter, Ava has appeared once before on this blog, when I ran the rule over her single January.

Her latest single is called Wishing Well and explores the struggle of growing up and confronting change. With it, Ava shows wisdom beyond her years with her storytelling lyrics beautifully delivered by her compelling voice. She’s backed by an instrumental that combines wistful acoustic guitar with atmospheric layers that slowly build before arriving at an anthemic crescendo.
