Everything You Wanted is the new collab between Canada-based artists JAXXEE and NEIL JAM3S.

Jaxxee has appeared on our blog twice before, both times in 2023 when Jane included her in her Retro #3 – Underground Soul roundup and posed her some questions in an interview. For her latest release, Everything You Wanted, she’s teamed up with Astrocolor frontman Neil James.

The pair share the writing and the vocals on the track which opens with a bass-led groove before Neil’s whispered vocals come in. The rhythm is infectious and you’ll find your heart stolen by Jaxxee’s sultry chorus. Throughout we are treated to plenty of ’80s dance nostalgia.

Everything You Wanted was recorded at Burning Rainbow Studio in Victoria, British Colombia. It’s out now and you can give it a listen below.
