The third single taken from his Starters EP, Work Life Balance is a funky number that combines the subversion of the ’80s with the sharp production of the here and now. The lyrics speak of the daily work grind and the absurdity of it all before a catchy chorus sticks the landing.

A project by musician and illustrator, Pete Bott, Messy Eater is an act who continues to show us how original he is. He’s putting York on the UK musical map.
