It’s been quite a while since we last shared music from Beautiful Life, so As Summer Fades is very welcome indeed!

The Canadian composer has really outdone herself this time. As Summer Fades is a beautiful piece of neoclassical music, portraying the tune’s themes well, even though there are no vocals on this track. Instead, the piece features a solitary piano, which is clearly enough to entrench the listener in a fleeting sense of beauty. The right-hand plays some lovely little arpeggios, as the left-hand focuses primarily on chords, gorgeously matching each other.
