Railing against the use of technology in warfare and its dehumanising effect, merigold is new to our blog through her latest track and video, Digital Empathy.

Opening with stripped back percussion and a striking bass line, Digital Empathy is a moody track that instantly draws you in. When merigold’s characterful, spoken-word vocals come in during the verse, you are fully hooked. The track then bounces along before hitting a hard edge in the chorus.
Based in Geneva, Switzerland, merigold makes the kind of post-punk that fans of Le Tigre or Pussy Riot will love.
Digital Empathy is out now, available to buy as a digital track on Bandcamp. You can give it a listen below.
