New to our blog, Ambergrove is a California, USA-based artist who has come to our attention through their “feelgood heartbreaker,” stills.

Though the core of it is based in California, Ambergrove is a global project. Collectively, they’re inspired by artists like Dijon, The 1975, Talking Heads, and Bon Iver.

Stills is a gentle yet devastating track that’s probably best described as indie pop even though the label doesn’t quite capture all it encompasses. At its heart is an emotive vocal which gives us melancholy in the verse before becoming soaring and harmony-backed in the chorus.

The track is the lead single from Ambergrove’s upcoming debut album, I Love You As A Bright Horizon, set for release 2 May 2025. It’s out now and you can give it a listen below.
