The music of American indie pop artist Goldie Scott has been appearing on our blog since 2022 and I always find myself excited by her new releases. Her latest is no exception. It’s called Gone For Good.

Gone For Good is a relatively serene track for Goldie who in the past has given us thoughtfulness, hopefulness, the disco-infused and the retro-modern. Her new single is a slow but swinging soul number. As ever, her expressive vocals shine, especially during a powerful chorus where they are joined by some classic harmonies. They sing of liberation and self-discovery in a tribute to the road-less travelled.

The single was co-produced and co-written with three-time Grammy nominee Andriu Yanovski and is out now. You can give it a listen below.
