Ralph Pelleymounter of To Kill a King teams up with Bastille‘s Dan Smith for exciting new indie Americana track, Spiralling.
By Graeme Smith
Co-written by the pair, who are long-term collaborators, Spiralling explores coping with change and parting ways with friends. There is, of course, plenty of emotion in the single, but it’s dealt with in a light and gentle way making it feel uplifting. Its bed of folk and country gives it a wholesome quality, particularly when Ralph and Dan’s harmonies kick in.
Spiralling is the second release from To Kill A King’s fourth studio album, The King is Dead, set for release later this year. It’s out now on Tequila King Records and you can give it a listen below.
