Shadows is Bonfire Tide‘s final single ahead of their debut album, Talk of Being Saved.

The track sees them team up with Ellysse Mason whose vocals prove instantly captivating during a gentle first verse. They’re paired with plucked strings and a certain bittersweetness. The lyrics are poetic and rich with a sense of darkness which is eventually shaken off by a swelling instrumental. As the track progresses, it builds with some faint harmonies and vibrant folk pop, arriving at a life-affirming crescendo.

First hitting our pages in February 2025, Northerners Bonfire Tide are proving an irresistible force. Based on the singles Submarine and now Shadows, their debut album is going to be something special.
