Messy Eater’s latest, On The Right Track is a groovy number that opens minimal and laidback before hitting a bass-induced stride. It drives things along (pun intended) as the lyrics tell a story of taking the scenic route. As ever, Bott’s vocals are the shining star, understated and charismatic. Snatches of samples inject a little soul into proceedings, keeping us invested right to the end.
The track is the second release from Messy Eater’s upcoming EP, Southern Fried. The single is out now and you can give it a listen below.
