A favourite of ours here at York Calling, it’s always great to see that Isaac Neilson has new music out. His latest is one for the warm weather and it’s called Dated a Daydream.

Dated a Daydream is cantering indie pop that pairs characterful vocals with a bright electronic-infused instrumental. Things get almost The Cure-esque in the chorus before any tension is released by a some singalong ‘na na nas.’ Charisma oozes from every note that Neilson sings and you can’t but help smile along to a track that’s perfect for your summer playlist. Neilson’s music has been gracing our pages since 2022 and the Buxton-based singer-songwriter never fails to impress with each new release. Dated a Daydream is no exception.
