North Carolina, USA-based act Jeán et Joie are back with funky and dreamy single, Greatness Can Wait.

At the start of Greatness Can Wait, a soft, gentle and timeless piano intro gives way a funky indie pop arrangement. The vocals soar over it all, providing a nice contrast to the bass groove. It’s the kind of track that has you feeling as much as it has you moving thanks to lyrics that a full of love and imagery. Just as you get a measure of things, the track evolves for a dreamy finish.

Led by artist and songwriter Grey Jeán, Jeán et Joie are firm favourites of ours here at York Calling. Their unique and relatable sound always has us coming back for more.
