After a five year break, indie rock band The Amber Unit return with melancholic new track and video, Building Trees.

Opening with some moody and textured indie electronica, the track quickly finds a rock groove that’s rich with emotion. Soft and captivating vocals hold the attention in the verse, delivering melancholic lyrics. Things strip back for the chorus before the groove comes back in, twice as impactful.

Based in Switzerland, The Amber Unit are Vic Hofstetter, Yves Neuhaus, Christoph Meneghetti, Stevie Fiedler, and Emanuel Speiser. The band featured prominently on our pages before their hiatus so it’s great to hear from them again. Their new album is going to be a great one, I can already tell.
