The track is a gentle, radio-friendly pop ballad with plenty of heart. As ever, Eliott’s vocals are deliciously compelling, giving us plenty of emotion in the verse before getting pleading in a chorus that will stick with you. A sense of heartache runs through it, and the feeling ramps up as the instrumental does, climaxing during a cinematic crescendo.

“Season is about catching feelings for someone and not knowing if you’re just a passing moment to them. I wanted to write something honest that sits in that space between hope and heartbreak,” says the artist.
