Bringing us nostalgia contrasted by a sense of excitement for the future, Amsterdam is the latest single from Newcastle’s Cat Ryan.

Amsterdam is a bright and breezy indie pop track for your summer playlist. Lead songwriter Mary-Anne Murphy’s vocals are full of charm and charisma, especially during a catchy chorus that has a melody that will have you bopping along. All the while, the lyrics are rich with storytelling and self-reflection, proving an intoxicating tonic.

The track was written by Murphy who then teamed up with bandmate Dan Wright to self-produce it. Joining them on it are Jake Waller-Doyle on lead guitar, and Charlie Radford on drums.
