A firm favourite of ours for many years, Ryan Cassata returns with a live performance and intimate video.

My Body’s My Home shows the rawest side of Ryan Cassata’s sound we’ve heard so far. Vocals and acoustic guitar set the scene, bringing plenty of vulnerable emotion. The use of metaphor and imagery in the lyrics makes it a gripping journey, one that the intimate video adds to. It all flows naturally to a lingering finish.
The last time I heard Cassata do acoustic folk like this was in 2018, so it’s great to hear him going back to his roots.
My Body’s My Home was performed live at Electrosounds Studio in Hollywood while Cassata was battling the intense symptoms of Lyme and tick-borne illnesses. We hear that fight in his performance, adding a whole layer of narrative to what is already a weighty track.
The single is out now and you can give it a listen below.
