Something of a rediscovery of ours, Abz Winter’s latest single simply couldn’t be ignored.

Giving us punchy pop rock to enliven the soul, Abz Winter combines big riffs and rumbling bass with her distinctive vocals in her latest, Ran Out Of Love. The lyrics take no prisoners during a slow-burning verse before an anthemic chorus fires you up. The energy of the track is incredible.

“My music is written about my life situations, of which there have been a few… this song is written to encourage people to be sassy and confident in their own skin especially in today’s dating scene,” Winter says. “You hook up with someone and they quickly bombard you with loads of attention, affection, gifts and stuff and then it just stops.”

Abz Winter’s music has appeared a couple of times before on this blog, but not since 2023. It’s great to have her back, and she’s back with a bang!
