Returning to our blog for the first time this year, Maximilian Tanner will have you feeling the feels with his latest single, Requiem.

Synth rich and full of soul, Requiem sees Tanner getting all moody. Its lush instrumental is nicely enhanced by his melancholic vocals. They tell a stirring, uneasily romantic story that will stick with you. Fans of The Killers would approve.

The Essex and sometimes Sheffield-based Maximilian Tanner popped up on our blog for the first time at the very end of 2024 with his ‘80s pop-infused single, Stray Dogs.

If you fancy catching him perform live, he’ll be playing at Sidney & Matilda, Sheffield on 10 September 2025 in support of Warrington Runcorn Newtown Development Plan.
