The Canadian indie artist has been featuring on our pages since 2024 and recently has been making a monthly return with a new single each time.

We’re now at the beginning of August and he’s back with Brand New Day, a song about optimism in the face of adversity. It sees Franco’s sound at its brightest, yet there’s a realistic relatability to its lyrics that keep things from feeling saccharine.

“The song is my life in three verses,” he says, “trying to capture the feeling that every day is not an Instagram moment, and that some periods in life are just hard, but, at the same time, every single day can be a new beginning and something to look forward to with new opportunities.”
