Returning from a three-year hiatus, The Casbahs are back on our blog with their comeback single, Electric Daydreams.

It was in 2022 that The Casbahs released their album Been Here Before. Jane shared the track Roman Numerals from the album calling it “the cream of the crop.”

Though The Casbahs have had a break, they’ve not lost any of their indie rock energy. Electric Daydreams is a raucous, slightly melancholic track that pairs a classic sound with a storytelling video.

The riffs are edgy, the vocals expressive, and the lyrics captivatingly poetic. A standout chorus seals the deal on a triumphant return.

Hailing from County Durham, The Casbahs are a five-piece consisting of Niall Fenwick on vocals, Joe Teasdale and Steven ‘Brian’ Grainger on guitar, bassist and co-vocalist Jack Walker, and drummer Harry Mason.
