Scouting For Girls will bring their 2026 headline tour to York Barbican on 17 March 2026, celebrating the 15th anniversary of their Platinum‑selling album Everybody Wants To Be On TV.
The tour accompanies the release of new picture disc and zoetrope vinyl editions of the record and follows the launch of the special Wolfcub Edition pre‑order for their next studio album, due in 2026.
Released in 2010, Everybody Wants To Be On TV expanded the success of the band’s debut, led by the chart‑topping single This Ain’t A Love Song. The album delivered a run of fan favourites including Posh Girls, Famous, 1+1 and Little Miss Naughty, and the new anniversary editions aim to recapture the energy that made the era so defining for the group. The band describe the reissue as a chance to revisit a period filled with their signature pop songwriting and upbeat charm.
Alongside the vinyl releases, fans can access early material from their forthcoming eighth studio album through the Wolfcub Edition lanyard. This limited, signed and numbered pre‑order unlocks exclusive new tracks and behind‑the‑scenes content, offering a first look at the next chapter in the band’s output. With previous tours selling out quickly, the band are encouraging fans to register early for pre‑sale access.
The band’s vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Roy Stride says: “I can’t believe we’re already celebrating the 15th anniversary of our second album, and I’m beyond excited to get back on the road in 2026! It feels like only yesterday that This Ain’t A Love Song went to #1 in the charts! To mark the occasion, we’ve gone all out with a gorgeous picture disc and zoetrope vinyl release – fans are going to love it! There are only 1,000 signed copies, so I hope there’s still one left for me.
Our last two tours sold out in record time so I’m asking all fans to register on our mailing list before they go on sale so they can access the ticket pre-sale. The shows are going to be immense – a massive nostalgic Scouting singalong every night.”
Their recent tours have included major UK venues and accompanied the release of their 2023 album The Place We Used To Meet, which marked a strong return to the charts and was later expanded into a deluxe edition.
Scouting For Girls will play at York Barbican on Monday 17 March 2026.
