Best known for his work with Ultravox and Visage, as well as co-writing and producing Do They Know It’s Christmas?, Ure remains one of the defining figures of modern British music. His career has spanned glam, punk and new wave, consistently pushing forward-thinking ideas while delivering enduring hits.
Rather than a straightforward greatest-hits set, this latest tour has been conceived as a continuous musical journey. Drawing from both sides of the new double album—split between vocal songs and cinematic instrumental pieces—the show promises a more expansive and atmospheric experience, weaving together past and present.
Following sold-out tours and landmark performances in recent years, including a celebrated Royal Albert Hall show, Ure returns with a production that reflects both his legacy and his ongoing evolution as an artist.
Midge Ure will play York Barbican on Friday 20 November 2026.
