Leo Sayer heads to York Barbican on 30 October 2026 as part of his final full UK tour, bringing a career-spanning set of classic hits to the city.
With more than five decades in music, Sayer has become one of the UK’s most enduring pop artists, racking up 19 Top 40 singles and a run of seven consecutive Top 10 hits in the 1970s. Tracks such as You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, When I Need You and Thunder In My Heart remain staples, showcasing his blend of pop, soul and singer-songwriter craft.
The tour arrives alongside the release of Leothology: The Studio Albums 1973–Now, a comprehensive 18-disc box set charting his entire recording career. Personally curated by Sayer, the collection reflects the depth and longevity of an artist whose work has continued to evolve across decades.
Known for his engaging live performances, Sayer’s shows balance nostalgia with musicianship, revisiting early material while highlighting later work and lesser-known gems. While he has made clear he is not retiring, this run marks his last extensive UK tour, making each date a chance for fans to catch him on a larger scale.
Leo Sayer will play at York Barbican on Friday 30 October 2026.
